My guess is that within a "few" years, we will see a slew of guitars with Pocket Pods (or similar) built into guitars. It just seems like a natural progression. A couple of extra knobs on front, electronics hidden in a routed section of the body, done.
This Pocket Pod really intrigues me, but I just can't quite justify the purchase when I already have a modeler. And, this thing has never gone on sale (that I've seen).
